Did you know you can put your password in as the password hint. Was working with David on some material for Monday’s presentation at OWSUG Study group and he noticed that as your password hint you can put in the password. Handy if you forget your password, not so great if you don’t want someone else getting it. This only works in a non-domain environment.
2505 new update Synchronized
That was the message last Wednesday from WSUS. 2505 updates is a lot so I was wondering if maybe a new class or program was added to the updates. Nope, upon further investigation is was ATI Radeon driver updates for Vista.
There was discussion of this in the microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services newsgroup and in the WSUS blog at http://blogs.technet.com/wsus/archive/2007/09/07/ati-radeon-graphic-card-updates-3892.aspx
New iPods
Apple has refreshed their line of iPod’s. The one generating the most buzz is the iPod Touch, which basically is a iPhone without the phone. The iPod classic seems to be a bit stubbier and the nano received a bigger screen and the ability to do video. Looks like the shuffle received new colours. I think I’ll stick with my 30GB 5G iPod for the time being, I can’t say I really care for the new designs. The touch could be useful if it can open PDF files, but I still wouldn’t rush out and buy one though.
