Virtual Folders in Windows Vista

posted on December 11, 2007

I downloaded an ISO image from the Microsoft today, using the download manager. It was slightly different then the one I normally use, but whatever, it came up ready to go. When I told it where to save my download in my documents, it created a virtual my documents. Ok fine, but where the hell is that?

It is located in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\%username%\Documents

I found you had to type in the string as opposed to clicking to it, the Virtualized didn’t show up for me, even when I told it to show hidden files and show protected and system files.
