Tracey and My New Blog On Cooking and Gardening
Posted on January 2, 2009, by Todd, under Weblogs.
Tracey and I started up a new blog at www.mucking-around.com which covers gardening and cooking. If you were at my apartment this summer, you would have noticed the major container garden I had going on my patio. I enjoy my garden and cooking the stuff that I grow, so the new blog will be dedicated to that subject. This blog will continue to be about IT and those sort of things.

On a recommendation from a friend, I decided to move my blog to a dedicated server back at the end of October. It has definitely been an interesting experience and I thought I would share.1 Comment
A Little Bit of Everything
Posted on November 7, 2006, by Todd, under User Groups, Web/Tech, Weblogs, Windows Vista.
First off, Microsoft Office 2007 has been released to manufacturing. Second thing has been Microsoft has released some trial software via VHD format and plan to release more. I don’t know much about it personally, just what I’ve read on various blogs so I don’t know what all is needed to test it out properly besides Virtual Server 2005 R2. I hope Microsoft releases these images as part of their Technet Plus offering, it would be a good addition to the package.

Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit
Posted on October 13, 2006, by Todd, under MCSE, User Groups, Web/Tech, Weblogs.
An email I sent to Rick Claus of Microsoft is posted on the Microsoft Canadian IT Professionals blog. I was more than happy to write something about the shared computer toolkit. It was really easy to use and deploy on my Windows XP Pro workstations. I am looking forward to the Version 2 which goes into Beta on October 30th. I plan on testing it as soon as it hits, so check back here for more information if you are interested.

This blog is going to be mainly about my adventures a SysAdmin. I hope to post some instructional guides and pointers on technology. I also plan on having some posts on gardening and other non-tech related activities.
