Deploying Windows XP with MDT

I’ve been working on trying to get some new machines deployed and some old machine’s refreshed with newer software for the past couple of days. I’ve been deploying both Vista and XP using MDT. I learned a few tricks that I want to pass along to everyone.

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Update 1

Microsoft has released an update to the MDT 2008. There are two major features added.
- OEM preload scenarios for Lite Touch Installation and Zero Touch Installation with System Center Configuration Manager 2007
- a new management pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007 SP1
